Working on some new cars for 2018 I hope to race eventually.
This one is "Green Mamba", it's a DD4H pre-drilled body (zero cant rear, 3 in front, Left DFW) and I'll be running Razor wheels like on my 2016 car.

I still need to figure out how to set the weight distribution and COG & COM and how much steer (thinking 2.5" over 4' due to razors).
If I can find the funds I'll run oil, if not ... then it's good old graphite for last place in Eliminator .

    Any tuning tips are welcome.

Don't run graphite!!! I would hate to see that paint job get messed up. I would run plain Krytox before I would run graphite. If you need some send me a PM. I have some that I will never use.

I’ve only heard of Krytox, don’t know anything about it or how to use and prep for it.

I’m interested to learn though if it’s an improvement over graphite

Check out this crazy weight placement on Green Mamba.

Based on the numbers I get on my scale (I only have one, sadly)
and plugging them into the app, the placement (odd as it looks) seems to put everything
where it should be by my understanding of how this stuff works ( am I wrong?).
P.S. the actual total weight is 4.915 Oz / 139.4 grams (for weight tape & foil)

Now I'm really interested in tuning and racing this thing.

Down side is I don't have enough weights to setup The other cars , I'll get a bunch eventually.

Anyway Mamba is really my best shot at out running my 2016 time of 2.9502 with Invader (I hope) as Mamba uses a one of John's (DD4H) Plug-N- Play bodies.

Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong on this stuff, I'm working on what I've read and what feels right ... so, wild guesses.

P.S it's been suggested I move the weights up to the spar (I did) and Then cut off the tail and add the difference to the front. While I understand the reasoning for this, it would likely cut right through the lettering and make a mess of it. Questioning if the 1/8 to 3/16 push up the track is really worth it.

    Thoughts ??

Thanks, I think it looks pretty good for spray cans.

More photos of my latest car builds. Hope to get these done and out to some races.
