Nice! I'm thinking about making a BASX and trying out the league. What wheels did you use?

For BASX, they have to be 2.4 gram wheels. If you are racing at RMD, you can use old style wheels. Any of the other leagues, you need to have new style 2.4 gram wheels.

Nice looking car! It is definitely different from what most are doing ...actually, it is a bit refreshing.

It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the axles look like they have a ball on the end? I think that all/most of the rules for the different leagues in the BASX style classes, require a "nail head" axle. I would hate to see you have an issue if it can be avoided.

    Good luck!

Derby Dad 4 Hire sells Predator Series 2.4g wheels.... these are older style wheels. He also sells the Terminator Series 2.4g wheel... these are the new style wheels.

Most of the other vendors sell new style wheels.

The wheels are straight out of the BSA grand prix kit that ive lathed to 2.4 grams
....the axles DO have "ball" heads...they are also home made ...from finish nails i purchased at lowes...so i assumed they qualify as a nail head....i took that rule as literal as can be...thanks for saying its a bit refreshing....i like to go against the grain a bit
