Heavy or Lite pine block?

    Do you want to start with a heavier original block of pine? Or as lite as you can find when building a wedge style racer? What are some of the pros and cons to both?

    Light as possible, that way you can then place the weight where you want it.

    I like to aim for Ridgid yet light on my frames say 7-12 grams bare, but really who are you racing? Great prep and awesome alignment is fast. Clean wheels is vital. Just my 2 cents
