During one of his many overnight sleep overs at the Nervous Hospital, if it was the pills or an ephiany it occurred to Billy that speed axles are a certain OD for a reason. One of which being stability within the bore/axle fitment.

Paper, by design, is made to remove material with the super fine grits giving a glossy finish during the final phase. The big dummy's though process may be skewed but why piddle with paper when a polished product is preferred ?

If Billy's right or wrong nobody knows like the Pros knows so here goes...should a polish only approach be done at the low speed of a variable drill or press or is it okay to use light shaft pressure using a Dremel at a low or high speed ? Curious about the Dremel and what speed as the knucklehead has spent $1.64 cents on 2 joist hangers to build his Mullet. An all business in the front and a party in the back axle head slotter and shaft polisher.
