Anyone know of a drawing that dimensions all the details of the awana grand prix wheels? Not just the OD and bore diameters... but all diameters and widths and thicknesses?

I'm looking for more detail than what you typically find by searching...I would like to construct the wheel on CAD for some design work. Or a cad file already done would work better. Google has not been much help.

If you had a digital 3D scanner, you then might be able to scan it into a CAD program.

thanks Kinser, I figured if google couldn't find it, that was probably true, but sometimes finding the right search term is harder that finding the actual thing your looking for. so I thought I'd ask. I'll probably produce it on my own.

3d scanner....hmmm not exactly cost friendly I imagine, but gives me an idea to research...3d scanning apps? I worked with a program once where you'd take a bunch of pictures of something and the program would build a 3d model based on the pictures, more pictures equaled better model. Was meant for larger objects though, well larger than derby wheels anyway. Wasn't useful to me at the time, just fun to play with.

You might consider a near by university or technical college for the 3D scanning, sometimes they have students that need to take on projects like that...
